“Time is always not enough” – this phrase seems to be so discouraging, yet so true.
Everyone in this world is trying to perform the best as they wish, to earn as much as they could. But among these ‘somebody’ group, including you and me, we tend to complain time can never be enough as we have so many things in mind that we want to think, to plan, to do, to execute and most importantly, to see the outcome.
Both my hands were panicking this early morning at 6am. Usually I don’t have long hours sleep, hence if I sleep before 12am, I will definitely wake up at 4am. Of course I force myself to continue sleeping. So as usual, I woke up at 6am. Without any plan in mind, I came to sit in front of my computer.
I started browsing here and there, very randomly. As I’ve stopped for some time from making handmade jewellery due to house moving, I kind of very far behind from updating my online store, besides updating my raw materials online store only as I would really want to destash my raw materials where I don’t really have enough space to store them in the coming future.
I came across with some internet pages of people discussing about the pros and cons between Etsy and Artfire. There was once I had such idea of opening a new store in Artfire, but due to my ‘time is always not enough…’ phrase, I put on hold. In fact, I have lots of thinking too between these two – Etsy OR Artfire? Or both?
Here are the two links that you may need to have a read if you are currently an artisan or keen to be a work-from-home-mum.

Some people have successfully sold many items through Etsy but some not. Some have slowly picked up their sales in Artfire. I’m thinking, whether our location will affect our sales due to the shipping charges, and also how people ‘look’ at us from a different piece of land on earth. There are many possibilities, but many of us may not want to agree as most of us, or all of us only have one goal “Make it SELLS!!!”
Besides the discussion above, again, ‘accidentally’ I came across with this young lady located in Singapore who made patterned sewing and also sell online. Here is her blog page which is quite interesting. http://djstoreroom.blogspot.com
I will be back with more discussion some day later
